How to season a cast iron Dutch pot

1, To prepare a piece of fat pork, make sure it’s meaty, so that the oil is more,the effect is better.

2, To flush the pot roughly , burn a pot of hot water,and then clean the pot body and the surface with a brush.

3, To put the pot on the stove, turn on a low fire, and slowly dry the water droplets in the pot.

4.To put the fat into the pot and turn it over. then use the kitchen tongs, smear every inch of the pot. Carefully spread, let the oil slowly seep into the pot.

5. When the meat turns black and caramelized and the oil in the pot turns black, remove it and clean the pot with water.

6. To Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 for about 3 times. When the pork is no longer black, it is prepared successfully. So you can spread the meat in batches, or you can cut off the surface of the previous pork and smear it with the inside part.

7, The last step, to clean the pot with water and dry the pot body, we can put a layer of vegetable oil on the surface, so that we can season the pot successfully.
